Job description

Location: Northcentral PA (Wayne/Luzerne Counties)

Pay: $18-22 per hour

Schedule: 24 hours per week (flexible days, standard business hours)

Duration: Temporary (approximately 6 months)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and organized individual to assist with property rehabilitation projects across Wayne, Lycoming and Luzerne Counties. This is a "boots-on-the-ground" role focused on the safe relocation of household goods, furniture, and materials during active community renovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Physical Logistics: Safely pack, load, and unload furniture and household items to clear spaces for renovation.

  • Asset Management: Maintain a basic inventory of items moved to ensure everything is accounted for during the rehab process.

  • Safety & Coordination: Work alongside volunteer groups and supportive service coordinators to ensure a smooth transition for residents.

Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs.

  • Reliability: Punctual and capable of working independently or as part of a small team.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with residents and site coordinators.

  • Transport: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites across the region. Pick-up truck or SUV is a plus.
