Job Summary
The Create Music Group Studio Internship program was designed to give participants first-hand experience of working in a recording studio. Participants will have the opportunity to use skills acquired from an educational institute and use practical applications.
This is an unpaid, part-time internship designed for current students receiving college credit. Interns must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available for 10-20 hours per week over a 3 month term.
Responsibilities
  • Being present for sessions and available to complete tasks for clients
  • Assisting clients with tasks or errands as needed
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness and etiquette
  • Completing projects dictated by studio management as directed
  • Maintaining a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to be as effective as possible

Qualifications
  • Some educational training in audio engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of Pro Tools and Logic Pro X
  • Extensive knowledge in pitch editing programs such as Antares Autotune and Celemony's Melodyne
  • Excellent in troubleshooting equipment and signal flow
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Must have reliable transportation

Pay Scale
  • Schedule: In office 1-2 days per week
  • Compensation: Unpaid, for academic or program credit only
  • Reporting To: Studio Manager & Engineer
