Operations Administrator
Summer Advantage is a high-quality, research-based summer learning program that partners with schools and school districts to bring programming to their scholars.
Job Summary:
The SA Operations Administrator is responsible for our summer site data collection, including staff and student attendance, maintaining a warm and inviting front office, supporting scholars and families that visit the front office.
To be eligible for our summer employment opportunity, you must be able to work all program days and attend all training days.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Must attend ALL preprogram training days.
  • Responsible for supporting the Program Manager with the process of creating clusters and assigning teachers and teacher assistants prior to program training week.
  • Responsible for the distribution of curriculum and supplies during training week.
  • Owns scholar daily attendance, including collecting attendance and entering it in the SIS and prioritizing outreach to our families that have an absent scholar.
  • Responsible for ensuring the daily sign in of the summer team and entering staff attendance into the payroll spreadsheet to ensure staff are paid accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for submitting staff attendance weekly.
  • Responsible for managing site communication including answering phones, emails, etc.
  • Will assist with the coordination of all Friday experiences, including field trips, service learning, guest speakers, and closing celebrations.
  • Support as needed on all administrative tasks that impact the successful launch, implementation and closure of the summer program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced level experience working in platforms such as Google and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • 1+ years' experience working in school or community youth-based program
  • Outstanding communication skills
