Your Role: IT Infrastructure Technician
The TechOps team supports Elanco Manufacturing and Research and Development sites across North America. As an IT Infrastructure Technician, you will be based on-site at the Clinton, Indiana Manufacturing facility, providing hands-on IT support across infrastructure, end-user technologies, and local IT services in a regulated manufacturing and laboratory environment.
Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure continuity and reliability of critical IT hardware, software, and infrastructure to support uninterrupted site operations
  • Provide deskside and end-user technical support, including break/fix and IMAC services for PCs, laptops, printers, iDevices, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, O365, Teams video conferencing, and telephony
  • Deliver last-mile support for site network equipment, cabling, connectivity, server rooms, and manufacturing and laboratory IT infrastructure
  • Manage local IT assets, configuration items, incidents, requests, and changes using ServiceNow
  • Execute local IT infrastructure projects, lifecycle management activities, and equipment procurement while maintaining accurate documentation and SOPs
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Engineering, IT Systems Engineering, or equivalent certifications and practical experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience supporting end-user technologies and infrastructure in environments with 250+ users
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with end-user devices, networking, wireless technologies, video conferencing systems, digital security, asset and lifecycle management, and incident management tools such as ServiceNow

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience working within the ITIL framework and IT service management practices
  • Prior collaboration with Operational Technology teams in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of regulated manufacturing and laboratory processes and IT-supported systems
Additional Information
  • Location: Clinton, Indiana (primary on-site location), Terre Haute as a secondary site
  • Work Schedule: Standard 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday
  • Travel: Minimal travel required
  • Some on-call or on-site support may be required to support 24/7 manufacturing operations
  • Role requires regular presence in production and R&D environments
