Position Summary:
Delivers high-quality guest service by providing accurate information about Schweitzer Mountain Resort, summer activities, and the local area. Serves as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for guests through in-person interactions, phone calls, and email while working in the Summer Activity Center. Supports sales, billing, and administrative functions, assists other resort departments as needed, and helps ensure a clean, organized, and guest-focused environment. Availability on weekends and holidays through Labor Day is required.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist guests by providing accurate, friendly information about Schweitzer Mountain Resort, summer activities, events and the local area.
  • Staff the Summer Activity Center by greeting guests, answering phones and emails, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Promote Schweitzer-owned businesses, activities, events, and concessions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Perform sales, billing, and fulfillment transactions for tickets, season passes, activities, and concessions using computer systems.
  • Handle cash transactions, balance daily tills, complete end-of-day reconciliation, and maintain financial accountability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized sales area and support other resort departments, including retail and rentals, as needed.

Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications - None
Technical - Computer skills required with previous point of sale system experience, cash handling, Microsoft Office.
Physical Capabilities - Should be able to sit/stand/walk for full 8 hour shift
Additional - Strong public relations and guest service background and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required - High School graduate preferred. English reading, writing and verbal communication plus basic math required.
Minimum time in related position - Previous guest service in a Resort environment experience preferred.
