About us:
Holiday Oil is a premier convenience store in Utah. This family-owned business has been around for 60 years with over 77 stores and is continuing to grow.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, operate the cash register, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner
  • Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle payments
  • Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps
  • Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
  • Follow safety and security procedures, including age verification for restricted products
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally

Skills & Requirements:
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively.
  • Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services.
