Who will you be working with?
L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor or MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom-made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction, and heavy industrial industries. We are looking for an individual to join our second shift tubing team.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Tube Machine Operator team, you will be responsible for the programming, operating, and machining parts for Production. Our tubes are one of the things that make us stand out in the Heat Transfer market. We are looking for individuals of all skill levels. You will report to the Tubing second shift supervisor.
What do we want to know about you?
  • High School Diploma or GED with 1-year related work experience.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Basic math skills required, use of calipers, tape measure, and micrometers essential.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment math test, physical, drug test and background test.
  • Computer skills are needed for looking up specs, job orders and clocking in.
  • Understand how mechanical components work and fit together.
  • Must be able to meet the physical criteria of the functional job demands.
  • Communicate effectively, in English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks.
  • Manual dexterity based on past experiences.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test.

What will your typical day look like?
  • Set-up and operate the tube machine to produce a completed tube.
  • Assemble tubes.
  • Inspect parts.
  • Perform light maintenance on the machines.
  • Assist in training others on the tube machine.
  • Follow all appropriate work instructions.
  • Set-up and operate RTTS and aluminum tube machine.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed and qualified.
  • Performs work in a safe manner and follows all safety guidelines and procedure.
  • Domestic and international travel required and could include weekend travel depending on the project.
  • Performs related work and other duties as required by supervisor.

The hourly range for this role is between $21.00 - $30.50. The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
