PAY RANGE: $31.00 - $45.00/Hour, Based on Experience
PROGRAM DATES: July 6, 2026 - August 14, 2026
ORIENTATION: July 1, 2026 (Mandatory) & July 2, 2026 (Optional for new staff/classroom set up)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for providing the speech and language services related to the needs of children for a classroom and on an itinerant basis.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide individual speech and language evaluations/intervention.
  2. Assist classroom teachers in developing instructional techniques in the areas of speech and language development.
  3. Communicate with administrators, teachers, parents, and students regarding difficult speech and language problems.
  4. Maintain communication with speech and hearing agencies and participating schools in areas of diagnosis and remediation of speech, hearing, and language problems.
  5. Perform such other professional duties as may be assigned by the Special Education Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS Speech And Language Disabilities Certificate and NYS License as Speech-Language Pathologist. Prior teaching experience preferred.
