Job Description : Providence Notre-Dame-De-Grâce is a residence for independent people and people with a slight loss of autonomy. The incumbent performs a variety of cleaning, disinfestation and maintenance work on the premises and common areas of the establishment. She ensures that the premises are kept clean according to the established work routes. Heavy work: Washing, stripping, waxing and polishing surfaces of floors, offices, rooms, corridors and stairs using the appropriate equipment; Wash ceilings, windows, elevators and ventilation grills using appropriate equipment; Ensures exterior landscaping; Maintains floors and showers; Detaches and disinfects toilets and piping using the appropriate products; Disinfects mattresses, beds and other furnishings; Removes snow and ice from main entrances and emergency exits and spreads salt as needed, in winter; Water flowers and grass in summer; If necessary, move and store furniture, materials, heavy equipment, etc. Light work: Cleans the floor surfaces of residents' rooms, corridors and stairs using the appropriate equipment; Maintains the cleanliness of the carpets; Dust baseboards in rooms and hallways; Cleans window sills, doors, mirrors, handrails, door frames and light fixtures; Disinfects sinks, tubs and toilets; Detaches and disinfects toilets using appropriate products; Empties and cleans wastepaper baskets; Empty garbage cans and disinfect them; Pick up liquid and solid damage and respond to emergencies; Dust furniture, counters and other accessories; Fills the various distributors; Ensures the cleanliness and proper functioning of the equipment; Carry out inspection rounds outside and inside the building and sign the inspection sheets for this purpose. Collaboration and teamwork: Completes a daily event report; Participate in maintaining quality standards; Participate in orientation and work initiation programs for new staff members; Perform any other task related to his job title, at the request of his immediate superior.
