Finance Business Partner Co-Op/Intern - Summer 2027
Where will you work: Research Triangle Park site at 5 Lab Drive, Suite 3200. Durham, NC 27709.
As a Finance Intern, you will have the chance to apply your knowledge of business and finance concepts real-world financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with our experienced Finance Business Partner and commercial partners. Your ideas and creativity will be valued as we strive for continuous improvement and innovation. Hybrid, at least 3 days a week on site
What you'll do:
  • Support collaborative efforts for Global Bioscience financial planning and analysis as well as Commercial SG&A spends
  • Integrate into a real-life work environment.
  • Day-to-day work assignments could include data and cost analysis, reporting developments, data management, and forecasting support.
  • Assist in forecasting processes including 5 year planning preparations in addition to monthly and quarterly closing responsibilities.
  • Special projects may be assigned by offsite Finance Business Partners.
  • Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, commercial sales team members, and R&D professionals.
  • Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
  • Adhering to Mosaic's mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

What you'll need:
  • Sophomore level by May 2027 or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong communication skills in addition to high level of critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Proficiency) Preferred
  • SAP Experience a plus
  • 2.75 GPA or higher
  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
  • Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
  • Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Experience working in a team environment is a must
  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
