Job description

About Us:

Interested in working for a fast-growing, financially strong Marin-based entertainment and leisure company this summer that owns and operates a variety of businesses? If you have an interest in the hospitality business which includes high-end athletic clubs and spas, restaurants, golf venues, shopping centers, public markets, and/or drive-in theaters, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Over the next several years, Syufy Enterprises will be rapidly expanding. We are looking for energetic and motivated college students who are interested in learning about our businesses and playing a role in the execution of the company’s current growth strategy. If you thrive in a successful, fast-paced environment and you enjoy challenge, please see below for more information about the program and how to apply.

Summer Internship Program Overview:

Our goal is to provide meaningful summer work experience for college students between their junior and senior year who have an interest in pursuing a career in our industries of operation and/or our department disciplines. Interns will work in our Home Office and will be provided with project-based work assignments in addition to receiving general exposure to our businesses via job shadowing, internal meetings, presentations and various daily assignments. While interns will primarily work in the home office, they may be exposed to the business locations for projects within their assigned division. Opportunities are available in the following departments:

  • Marketing
  • Residential Real Estate

Our previous 11 internship programs have been rated positively by participants. Here’s what a few of our previous interns had to say at the end of the program:

  • “I was given projects that made an impact and was treated like a true coworker from my peers.” – Operations, 2018
  • “I was able to work on much higher level projects. I also enjoyed the hands on help I received from senior employees in the Company.” – Corporate Development, 2017
  • “I felt like this was the first internship where I was treated like an employee and not an intern. I was trusted with daily tasks and learned more than any other internship that I have had.” – Accounting, 2018
  • "I felt that I was given the perfect amount of instruction. I was able to create within the guidelines, but not have so much instruction that I couldn't bring new perspectives and ideas." - Marketing, 2021
  • "I have grown so much as a person in my time here. I think that this company inspires a good work ethic, and being allowed to do real projects that have an impact makes this internship much more attractive than others." - Operations, 2022
  • "I would recommend this internship to future interns who are looking for real world problems to solve in operations, and have a true role in the company where their ideas are 100% supported." - Operations, 2025
