What's the role?

Join our Internal Audit team as a SOX 404 Summer Intern and step into the world where we help protect the business strengthening controls, uncovering risks, and making sure HERE processes work the way they should. You'll be handson with real testing, real controls, and make a real impact.

You'll work closely with our audit team, process owners, and COO leaders to evaluate the strength of our internal control environment while building skills that stand out in accounting, finance, consulting, and risk careers.

What you'll do:

  • Perform SOX 404 testing across key business processes (e.g., Close the Books, ProcuretoPay)
  • Analyze evidence to determine whether controls operated effectively
  • Document test results in a clear, professional format
  • Communicate findings and agree on remediation steps with process owners
  • Support Internal Audit leadership in preparing a consolidated summary of SOX 404 results

What you'll learn:

  • How to evaluate whether a control actually works

  • Someone who is excited to grow through mentorship opportunities

This is a paid internship with a fixed hourly rate of depending on your level of education as follows: 

Undergraduate Students:           $25/hr 

Graduate Students:                    $30/hr 

PhD Students:                            $35/hr 

Full-time - 40 hours per week.
