Data Center Engineer (On-Site)

A technology-focused firm is hiring a hands-on Data Center Engineer to support physical infrastructure across multiple facilities in New Jersey.


Responsibilities
  • Install, rack, cable, and maintain servers and network hardware
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hardware issues; coordinate repairs with vendors
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate documentation
  • Partner with colocation providers and internal teams to support deployments

Requirements
  • 5+ years in data center or hardware infrastructure roles
  • Strong experience with servers, networking, and fiber cabling
  • Working knowledge of Linux and basic networking
  • Ability to work on-site, travel locally, and support occasional off-hours work
