Role: Data Center Engineer
Location: Boise, ID
The Data Center Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting data center infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, networking, and rack infrastructure.
  • Monitor data center operations, including power, cooling, and environmental systems.
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting, break/fix support, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage cabling, rack/stack activities, and asset inventory.
  • Ensure system uptime, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Support OS installations, patching, and firmware upgrades.
  • Follow data center standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in capacity planning, documentation, and change management.
  • Provide on-call or 24/7 operational support as required.
