Job Description:
Supervise a designated group of children (ages six weeks to ten years) daily, ensuring their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs are met. Deliver high-quality early childhood and school-age education, while promoting the growth and development of young children.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age and possess a H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.
• Sixty (60) semester hours of Early Childhood Education at the college level, or experience working with young children in a childcare setting required.
• Must have or obtain the following trainings within 3 months of employment: Infant & Child First Aid & CPR, Common Childhood Communicable Disease, Recognition and Prevention of Child Abuse.
• Shall not have any convictions of child abuse or crimes involving moral turpitude.
• Must have a fingerprint check by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate degree in early childhood education or a closely related field, or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential preferred.
