Salary: $18 / hr

Bay Farm is seeking several Summer Camp Assistant Counselors for its Bay Farm Summer program.


Bay Farm's Summer Program will run from June 8 to August 14. The hours are 8:00 - 4:00 PM.


Openings exist at multiple levels, including:


Toddler House (18mo - 2.5years)

Children's House (2.5years - 5years)

Elementary (6years - 10 years)


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assist Lead Counselor in the preparation and maintenance of classroom materials, environment, and curriculum.
  • Classroom teaching, assist children with toileting and hygiene.
  • Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with parents of students through ongoing, responsible, timely, and respectful communication.
  • Participation in staff meetings and trainings;
  • Collaborate with coworkers to provide the best possible educational experience for students.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in a school or camp environment is highly desired
  • First Aid / CPR certification or willingness to become certified
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
