About the Role
We are seeking qualified, confident, and collaborative Entry-Level Electrical Engineers to join our New York office. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career with a firm known for engineering excellence and innovation.
As an Electrical Engineer at JB&B, you'll work on a wide range of projects-varying in size, complexity, and duration-across multiple sectors. You'll collaborate with senior engineers and partners, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while contributing to impactful client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks on fit-out, base building, and infrastructure upgrade projects
  • Assemble riser diagrams, schedules, and floor plans
  • Assist in planning and coordinating routing of major distribution systems, equipment rooms, closets, shafts, and risers
  • Review shop drawings and perform site visits and punch lists under senior supervision
  • Work on electrical distribution, circuiting, and calculations for electrical systems
  • Lay out switchgear, generators, and panels; perform basic load and voltage drop calculations using software
  • Conduct site surveys, punch lists, and design reviews
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required (by Summer 2026)
  • 0-1 years of MEP design engineering experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Demonstrated success collaborating in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of design software tools, Revit and AutoCAD preferred
