ABOUT THE TEAM

The Private Markets Solutions Delivery team operates at the intersection of business, technology, and data to deliver high-value solutions that enable investment professionals to manage and optimize Private Markets investments across asset classes.

Working in a collaborative, agile environment, the team partners closely with investment groups (e.g., Real Estate, Natural Resources, Investment Finance, Private Risk) and Technology, Data and Operations (TDO) teams to drive innovation, enhance processes, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with business strategy and roadmap.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, Private Markets Solutions Delivery, you will play a key role in delivering technology and data solutions that support Private Markets investment activities. Depending on your level of experience, you will contribute to or lead initiatives across the full solution delivery lifecycle.

You will:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements in the form of user stories and functional specifications, following established frameworks and practices

  • Contribute to the analysis of common and complex issues by applying existing methodologies, models, and tools, and escalate as needed

  • Contribute to the delivery of digital solutions by carrying out activities assigned in the delivery plan and adhering to priorities set by product or solution owners

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (IT, business, vendors) in an agile environment to support backlog refinement, sprint activities, and requirements documentation

  • Participate in testing activities (functional, integration, or UAT), including preparing scenarios, executing tests, and recording results

  • Support solutions in production by contributing to incident resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives under supervision

  • Gradually develop an understanding of platforms, processes, and data related to Private Markets, and share learnings within the team

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, system analysis, or solution delivery within financial services or investment environments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex business and technical challenges

  • Working knowledge of databases and infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server); SQL proficiency is a strong asset

  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps (or similar) is an asset

  • Strong interest or understanding of financial markets, particularly Private Markets, with financial certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) considered an asset

  • Bilingualism English and French *Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa
