Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.
Job Purpose
The Data Engineering team develops software and infrastructure to manage CNH's AI and Surround Sense data pipelines. These pipelines are critical for evaluating product performance and accelerating the delivery of algorithms that power next-generation technologies in autonomy and smart machinery.
As a Data Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on cloud-based data engineering projects that directly support AI and machine learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of data pipelines that process, manage, and analyze large volumes of AI and sensor data
  • Supporting migration efforts from AWS to Azure, depending on project priorities during the internship term
  • Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to improve data flow efficiency and infrastructure scalability
  • Working on existing projects to build technical skills and contribute to ongoing improvements
  • Exploring opportunities to optimize pipelines for speed, performance, and reliability to better support product delivery

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering or a related field.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
