Position Summary
The German Summer School may be looking for qualified temporary part-time instructors for Summer 2022. This is a semester by semester contract und is dependent upon funding and sufficient student enrollment.
The German Summer School is a program of the Department of Languages, Cultures, and Literatures. It is a 4-week total immersion language program taking place in Kingston (New Mexico), usually during the month of June. Participation requires faculty members to live and work in its remote location.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ph.D.
• Native Speaker of German
• Experience teaching courses on German language, literature, and culture at the college level
• Experience with immersion language programs
• A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
