Description:

Phoenix Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to assist with identifying, marketing, and selling surplus inventory through third-party e-commerce platforms such as Facebook Marketplace and others. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory management, online sales, and digital marketing within the residential security industry.


Summer and/or Fall Internship opportunities available.

Requirements:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, organize, and catalog surplus or "At-Risk" inventory within the warehouse.
  • Photograph products and ensure high-quality visuals for e-commerce listings.
  • Write accurate, engaging, and informative product descriptions for online listings.
  • Create and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace and other approved e-commerce platforms.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, manage negotiations, and coordinate shipping logistics.
  • Track and report on inventory movement and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote surplus inventory and optimize listing visibility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in High School, High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with online marketplaces (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, eBay, etc.).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in e-commerce, marketing, or inventory management is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening.
