Banner Witcoff is now accepting applicants for the 2027 summer program
Banner Witcoff, a recognized leader in the practice of intellectual property law, is seeking second year law students to work in its Washington, DC office as Summer Associates for the summer of 2027.
As a Summer Associate, the student will assist in a variety of legal assignments including intellectual property counseling and opinion work, patent prosecution, and intellectual property litigation-related matters.
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of academic achievement, excellent interpersonal skills, a scientific or engineering degree, and be eligible to take the Patent Bar Exam. Backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering are highly preferred. The salary for this summer clerkship role is $4,134.00 weekly.
