Job description

client-ITD requires the services of a specialist in the role of a Senior Salesforce Solutions Designing Expert to lead and support major modernization efforts with DCDEE EEIS project in Yellow application portfolio.
The Client is seeking a contract Senior Salesforce Solution Designing Expert to design and deliver end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud. This role supports mission-critical public-sector programs across Early Education Information System (EEIS) Regulatory licensing, service operations, Provider Compliance, and Registry related programs such as WORKS, NC Pre-K, Early Education Support, Training and Professional Development. The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable, maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineering: Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies, Architecting Low Code Solutions, designing highly scalable and reusable application components, business process optimization, Human centered design and lightning experience best practices.
  • Coordination and communication: Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute required updates and deliverables.
  • Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best-fit approaches.
  • Technical leadership: Establish development standards, mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and promote consistent high standards across teams.
  • Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring, Summer, and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts. Assess platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.
  • AI-enablement: Apply AI-driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
