Job description

Who are we?Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way - by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is, Kids have fun, parents see results. We believe in these words so much that it's written on the walls in our center.
What are we looking for?We are looking for energetic, reliable Summer Counselors to join our team during summer break. This individual will help run our coding and STEM-based camps, making sure kids are safe, engaged, and having fun. If you enjoy working with children, love technology, and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead and assist with Summer tech camps, following provided curriculum and activities
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for kids
  • Engage students in coding, robotics, and STEM-based projects
  • Support campers individually and in groups to maximize fun and learning
  • Communicate with parents during check-in/check-out as needed
  • Ensure the center remains clean, safe, and organized throughout camp hours
  • Report daily to the Camp Lead or Center Director with respect to activities and student progress

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, babysitting, or camp experience)
  • High-energy, enthusiastic, and dependable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in coding, robotics, or technology (no prior coding experience required-training provided!)
  • Must be available during summer camp hours (M-F 8AM-3:30PM)
  • Must be fun, adaptable, and enjoy a dynamic environment

Why join us?
  • Flexible, seasonal schedule during school breaks
  • Fun, energetic work environment with like-minded teammates
  • Gain experience in education, STEM, and child mentorship
  • Make a real difference by inspiring the next generation of coders and creators
