They are responsible for organizing activities, ensuring safety, teaching skills, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Summer Coaches may specialize in sports, arts, academics, or general recreation, and they play a key role in creating a fun and educational summer experience.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a summer coach?

To thrive as a Summer Coach, you need a solid understanding of youth development, activity planning, and basic first aid, often supported by experience working with children or relevant certifications (like CPR/First Aid).
