About the Position: GPTech is pleased to offer a 12-week paid summer internship program for candidates to work remotly in support of our Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Infrastructure practice areas. The selected candidates will support current contracts with the U.S

Department of State (DOS), United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), and others, as well as corporate growth efforts for GPTech. Our internship program offers exposure to business development and project management, while enabling the intern to gain valuable technical skills working on U.S. Government contracts alongside senior professionals

GPTech's summer intern can expect to: develop an understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and their application to sustainable energy and infrastructure consulting; develop an understanding of the U.S. Government business capture management process including proposal development strategies, technical approach development, marketing, partner management, proposal costing, assembly, and production; gain familiarity and provide support on a wide range of technically diverse projects; gain valuable insight into conducting business as a federal contractor; and become familiar with a wide range of possible career paths by assisting and interacting with professionals in various positions across the organization. Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities depend on the assigned practice area; general responsibilities may include the following: Assist GPTech in projects and research for major clients such as USTDA and DOS

Assist in program management activities, including procurement and recruitment processes, planning and scheduling activities, and internal reporting and budgeting. Assist in preparing and developing infrastructure design and construction quality assurance and quality control documents. Assist in the development of GPTech practice area strategic plans.

Identify, review, and support development of new business opportunities. Collect and analyze statistics and information related to sustainable energy and infrastructure and market trends. Research and report on clean energy technology supplier product and performance data.

Research and report on developing country energy sector policies, regulations, and industry. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university, or a recent graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program from an accredited college or university Interested in the sustainable development goals and their application in energy, engineering, and development programs and projects General knowledge of overall international development sector challenges, opportunities, and solutions, including construction, quality, environmental issues, and infrastructure reliability and resiliency Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English Professional proficiency with business-oriented software such as Microsoft Office, GSuite, Slack, Box, and Asana Fluency in a second language a plus Thank you for applying and for your interest in GP Tech.
