About the Position
Are you passionate about young students and interested in learning more and exploring a career in Montessori education? Our Toddler Summer Camp Counselor position is the perfect opportunity to guide students in meaningful work, while helping to provide a prepared environment that facilitates student-led learning and freedom with responsibility. Aspects of the role include:
  • Modeling positive behaviors and kindness for children
  • Supporting group time and outdoor play
  • Facilitating smooth transitions throughout the day
  • Preparing engaging learning materials
  • Helping children with independence milestones
  • Supporting language development, social and emotional learning, and executive functioning skills
  • Making the learning environment a lovely and inviting place to be

What We Offer
We offer a supportive community that encourages professional growth, with pay of $16.00-$17.00 per hour over the summer timeframe (June-August). We also offer:

About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally positive, a good communicator, and passionate about learning and child development. You must be:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Must successfully clear criminal background check
  • Compliance with all state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentials for the position
