Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30 pm
June 1 - July 10, 2026
Location: Valley View Early Learning Center
Must have an Early Childhood Teaching Certificate or an Elementary Teaching Certificate with an Early Childhood Endorsement
Note: All of our certified positions require a full Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement within one year of hire.
Tasks: Implement curriculum based on sound early childhood practices. Maintain an attractive, functional, appropriate environment. Supervise educational assistants. Provide program including, long-range planning and well-prepared daily activities. Track the development of individual children, assess needs, and plan based on those needs. Maintain relations with parents through initial and follow-up conferences, informal contact and Weekly Highlights. Attend monthly staff meetings, IEP meetings, and weekly classroom team meetings. Integrate children with special needs into the program in conjunction with the special education teacher and specialists. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director of the Preschool.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge of early childhood education (optional knowledge of EC Special Education).
*It is helpful to have knowledge of, or skills in art, drama, music, language, gardening, PE, sewing, woodworking.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in ECE/CD and experience with young children.
Special Requirements:
Physically fit, able to lift, bend, sit on floor, be outdoors for 1-2 hours; maneuver children, maneuver small furniture and equipment.
