  • Learn and support team-specific projects and tasks related to client financial information, asset evaluations, charitable giving, trust documents, and banking needs.


Job description

Private Wealth Management Intern | Summer 2027
Reports to: Assigned Mentor (with various additional team coaches throughout the summer program)
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial analyses for various personal wealth management topics, including investments, estate planning, tax planning, debt management and insurance.
  • Complete rotational program by rotating through a minimum of three of the following teams:
    • Client Advisory Team - Learn the fundamentals of private wealth management and update client financial information (balance sheets, quarterly reporting information, reallocations, etc.) Complete various client-specific projects such as real estate evaluations, private equity evaluations, personalized investment research, private aviation research, and other projects on an as-needed basis.
    • Investment Team - Learn TWM's investment strategies, review current and potential asset managers, compile and analyze historical financial data, and conduct quantitative and graphical analyses.
    • Philanthropy Team - Track and analyze historical client philanthropic giving, perform due diligence on charities of client interest, and learn fundamentals of charitable planning.
    • Trust Team - Learn essentials of trust administration and operations, including standard estate planning documents such as wills, trust agreements, and powers of attorney.
    • Private Banking Team - Learn about banking and lending needs for bank clients including mortgage loans, business loans, lines of credit, and deposit accounts.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be an active Junior or Senior college student working towards a bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance from an accredited university or college
  • Graduation date on or before May 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3 (overall)
  • Strong financial analytical skills and understanding of basic financial concepts
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally in the personal wealth management/multi-family office business
  • Experience using Windows based software, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Availability to work 40 hours a week at our Dallas Highland Park office for the 10-week program
