Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
Amazon Leo team is looking for a Business Operations leader to support business and engineering stakeholders in selecting, developing and managing business relationships with critical technology and service suppliers, and others as needed to execute on Amazon Leo objectives. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record developing and executing strategy, and managing supplier performance. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
Be the Leader for ASIC Global Business Operations. Develops operations models and oversees supply chain, sales orders and inventory management.
- Develop a team of Business Operations Managers responsible for supply and demand planning, inventory management, material allocations, sales orders, and fulfillment.
- Lead cross-functional Initiatives to establish wafer and ASIC supply chain process and overall structure of the business.
- Leading supply chain and inventory management, setting goals, and strategic directions, and driving automation and process improvements.
- Lead and drive operational collaboration with suppliers and internal customers.
- Provide leadership on project selection, scope, definition and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Train team members on new processes and ensure effective communication of change.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of people management experience
- 7+ years of technical program management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience in people management
- Experience in technical program management
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment experience
- Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
- Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
- Master's degree or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
