Lead Preschool Teacher (2025-2026 School Year)
Position Start Date: Summer 2025 (training and preparation)


Join our dynamic team at Small Wonders Preschool and help inspire the next generation of learners in a nurturing, Christian preschool environment. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering a creative, engaging, and loving learning atmosphere for our students. You will have the opportunity to implement age-appropriate lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate closely with parents and colleagues-all while sharing the love of Jesus.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated educator who has a heart for early childhood education. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children during their most formative years.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
  • Create a fun and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and spiritual growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through informal and formal observations and assessments.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a positive, supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
  • DCF (Department of Children and Families) Certification is required.
