Job description

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVPICU for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights

Job Title: Registered Nurse – CVPICU
Location: Akron, OH 44308
Start Date: 09/25/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12, Days/Nights

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of PICU experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • ACLS, BLS & PALS required
  • Epic charting experience
  • Patient ratio experience: 1:1
  • Must be willing to float to Summa's Akron location, as well as other acute care units and NICU
  • Every other weekend required
  • Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent & Adult patients

Preferred:

  • Level I or Level II Trauma experience

Notes:

  • Travelers may float between the Akron main campus and Summa location
  • Day and night shifts available
  • High-acuity CVPICU setting
