Mexican Sugar is seeking Servers!
Hola meseros y meseras! Mexican Sugar is searching for our next great experience makers for our guests escaping to a fresher, lighter, better Latin experience. We are serving up sultry Mexican comfort with service that is two steps ahead of the guest's every need. Passionate service that results in grace under fire because service is ahead of service needs and service staff are always in control.
Our Servers:
  • Possess a passion for service that is comforting, effortless, warm, and the guest's beck and call.
  • Know the origins, pronunciations, and ingredients of our menu items like they grew up with them.
  • Recommend the perfect drinks for the occasion, whether it a handcrafted margarita, a sultry red wine, or the very best of our tequila library
  • Create regular guests through resort-style service that is bilingual and detailed, but never stuffy or pretentious.
  • Inspire their teammates to ask them for help.
  • Understand the balance of great service and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years serving experience; high-end casual or fine dining preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus.
  • Stand for long periods & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service.
