Job description

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our propane business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of propane systems and equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role requires a strong understanding of propane systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. The Service Technician will ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Installation & Maintenance:

  • Install and maintain propane tanks, regulators, lines, and other related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on propane systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections of propane equipment and systems to prevent potential hazards.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with propane systems, including gas leaks, faulty regulators, and malfunctioning valves.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting for both residential and commercial customers.
  • Replace defective or outdated equipment as necessary.

Customer Service:

  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining service needs and solutions in a clear, professional manner.

Requirements:

Qualifications:


Education:
