A subtitler listens to the audio, accurately translates or transcribes the content, and synchronizes the text to appear on screen at the right time. This role often requires strong language skills, cultural awareness, and attention to detail to ensure that subtitles are clear, concise, and true to the original meaning. Subtitlers may work with various types of software and collaborate with translators, editors, and video producers.
