Substrate Manufacturing Technician Jobs (NOW HIRING)

As a Lead Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will lead a team, provide technical expertise, and ensure smooth engineering processes .You will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an On-Site work schedule.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and assist a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee daily manufacturing performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshooting techniques to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Assure all equipment and tooling are working as expected to assure performance.
• Help establish TPM and process monitoring to validate process compliance.
• Audit SOS adherence within the cell to assure operator and processing equipment compliance.
• Assist in rapid problem solving to find the source of process/product variation and escapes from the cell.
• Strong utilization and development of standard work to assure consistent product and process flow throughout the cell.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

WE VALUE

• Optical glass machining polish experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Mechanical measurement aptitude (GD&T), ability to read engineering drawings
• Substrate glass optical contact/polish experience
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing role or a support technician role
• Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Technology

Hourly Pay Range
The annual range for this position is $85,000- $110,000. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
