Substitute teachers with fewer than 60 college hours are required to pass an online substitute teacher training course
available at : www.stedi.org and must be fingerprinted, at their expense.
Applicants for substitute teaching must have graduated from HS at least 3 years prior to employment as a substitute teacher.
Additional documents required are:
2 forms of identification required to complete the 1-9 form ( upon employment)
