SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
We value our Teacher Substitutes as they play an important role as a member of our educational team and for their commitment to the continued education of our students in the absence of the classroom teacher.
The Fort Dodge Community School District (FDCSD) hires qualified and caring people to be substitute teachers for our students.  We work with prospective applicants to make it as easy as possible to become a successful Substitute Teacher.

  • Current, valid Iowa Teaching License, Substitute License, or Substitute Teacher Authorization.
