Cure Tablet is seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our integrated care team. This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while ensuring you stay connected with your colleagues and clients. The work hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with potential evening hours on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative work setting, leveraging technology for communication and documentation while maintaining high standards of care.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, ensuring accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients that incorporate evidence-based practices, ensuring a focus on individual needs and preferences.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients build coping mechanisms, develop relapse prevention strategies, and master emotional regulation techniques.
• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.
• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients throughout their recovery journey.
• Educate clients and their families about the dynamics of co-occurring disorders, emphasizing the significance of adherence to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate proactively in case conferences, staff training, and team meetings to enhance knowledge in managing co-occurring disorders.

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals who are facing complex issues stemming from mental health conditions combined with substance use disorders. Your role is critical in supporting their recovery journeys by providing targeted interventions and fostering a trustworthy therapeutic alliance.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Strong understanding of the interaction between mental health and substance use disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the field of mental health counseling, specifically dealing with co-occurring disorders, will be highly valued. Experience in integrated care settings is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is also recommended to ensure a smooth workflow.
