In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take on diverse responsibilities that encompass both individual and family therapy. Your tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families to identify underlying issues.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, addressing relationship dynamics while also offering individual sessions as necessary.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in overcoming challenges such as grief, family conflicts, and substance abuse.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client and their family dynamics.
• Employing strategies to foster healthy communication among family members and resolving longstanding conflicts.
• Documenting client progress thoroughly while adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards.

The client population you will serve is diverse, comprising families navigating a variety of challenges, including:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues
• Grief and loss
• Family conflicts, including cut-offs and sibling disputes
• Adjustment difficulties related to separation or divorce
• Problems stemming from blended families and remarriage
• Job-related stress impacting family dynamics and interactions

This position requires adeptness in addressing complex emotional and behavioral issues, aiming towards fostering lasting change and enhanced relationships within families.

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, focusing on family and marriage counseling.

While not mandatory, additional experience with teletherapy, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices will be considered advantageous. Expertise in working with both adult and child/adolescent populations will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care within our practice.

Solaris Behavioral Health Center offers competitive compensation for licensed therapists, with annual earnings ranging from $75,000 to $100,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
