Job description

Looking for self motivated instrument fitters that can read and understand P&IDโ€™S, work as a team and help others grow. The job is for onshore and offshore service work and in some cases in our facility. You must be able to pass at tubing test and drug test.

Job Functions:

  • Performs assembly and tubing layout of pressure test systems
  • Controls plumbing
  • Performs tubing bending
  • Cone and threads tubing on high pressure systems
  • Services customers on site to perform maintenance and repair equipment
  • Interacts with customers to determine service issues
  • Provides technical support as necessary
  • Works closely with project manager
  • Keeps detailed records of service work
  • Attends various certification classes and schools as required

Certification Requirements / Experience:

  • Tubing Technician training required
  • 5+ years experience in I & E / Tubing work
  • Ability to bend and cone & thread tubing
  • Ability to use fittings on tubing
  • Clear driving record
  • Knowledge of panels and test systems
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Basic math and science skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving ability
  • Customer service
  • Meeting deadlines and schedule restraints
  • Dealing with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Developing effective working relationships with peers so as to work as a team
