Mid–Senior Level (5 or more years of consumer product management and growth experience)
Role Overview
The Product Manager for Subscriptions Growth drives the acquisition, discovery, and conversion strategy for a leading consumer digital healthcare subscription portfolio. This role is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end growth funnel—from top-of-funnel exposure and value proposition messaging through onboarding, checkout, and initial member activation. Working closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams, the Product Manager builds high-velocity experimentation frameworks that translate consumer health needs into compelling, high-converting subscription experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Funnel Optimization
• Drive the acquisition strategy and product roadmap for consumer subscription offerings across web and mobile platforms.
• Optimize the end-to-end growth funnel, from qualified exposure and user engagement through checkout, paywall conversion, and activation.
• Define clear, consumer-centered value propositions that communicate product utility and motivate paid subscription starts.
• Establish growth models, performance benchmarks, and funnel KPIs connecting user engagement to conversion and lifetime value.
Experimentation & Data-Driven Decision Making
• Build and scale a rigorous A/B testing and experimentation program in close collaboration with Analytics teams.
• Formulate testable hypotheses, prioritize experimentation backlogs, and utilize statistical insights to iterate on roadmap priorities.
• Conduct quantitative funnel analysis and qualitative user research to diagnose drop-off points and eliminate onboarding friction.
UI/UX Discovery & Merchandising
• Partner with Design and User Research to develop intuitive, accessible user interfaces that foster trust and clarify complex healthcare options.
• Integrate subscription touchpoints seamlessly across web surfaces, mobile app interfaces, account profiles, and lifecycle communications.
• Partner with Engineering to implement scalable targeting, merchandising, dynamic paywalls, and instrumentation capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
• Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Content, SEO, and business partners to ensure unified messaging across owned channels.
• Balance consumer value, business growth metrics, technical feasibility, and healthcare regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Communicate product roadmaps, testing outcomes, and strategic learnings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
• 5 or more years of product management experience building, launching, and scaling consumer-facing web or mobile products.
• Proven track record with consumer subscription models, specifically owning growth levers such as acquisition, paywall design, onboarding, pricing, or retention.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing data-driven A/B experimentation and multivariate testing programs.
• Deep understanding of consumer growth funnels and metrics (including qualified traffic, conversion rates, activation, churn, and lifetime value).
• Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with software engineers and data teams on event instrumentation, experimentation infrastructure, and subscription platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building consumer digital health, wellness, telemedicine, or healthcare technology products within regulated environments.
• Experience with condition-based, care-related, or recurring membership subscription services.
• Prior experience operating within hybrid or remote growth organizations with high experimentation velocity.
Core Skills & Attributes
• Strong user empathy with an ability to simplify complex concepts into intuitive, high-converting digital journeys.
• Analytical rigor with a hypothesis-driven approach to solving growth bottlenecks.
• Collaborative mindset skilled at uniting engineering, design, data, and marketing stakeholders around shared objectives.
• Agility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving product ecosystem.
