A submissive is a person who willingly chooses to take a more passive or yielding role in a relationship, often within the context of BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism, and Masochism). Submissives may derive satisfaction, fulfillment, or pleasure from relinquishing control to a dominant partner according to mutually agreed-upon boundaries and consent. Being a submissive is a personal choice and can look different for each individual, depending on their preferences and agreements with their partner.
