Job description

Subcontracts Administrator

The Opportunity:

As a contracts specialist, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your contract management knowledge to our Global Supply Chain team, where you'll be a trusted advisor and a valuable collaborator who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company.

On our team, you'll use your subcontract management and direct procurement expertise to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts for federal programs. In this role, you'll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You'll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.

As a trusted business partner, you'll negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and original equipment manufacturers across a breadth of contract types. You'll also use your sourcing skills to support onboarding and awarding subcontracts and suppliers within a government approved procurement system. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • Experience inproject coordination, supply chain, subcontracts, purchasing, logistics, or operations

  • Experience working directly with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product delivery

  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter

  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements

  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $48,000.00 to $98,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
