RBM OF ATLANTA WHOLESALE PARTS SALESPERSON

Wholesale Parts Salesperson will sell parts and accessories to wholesale parts customers and actively solicit wholesale accounts and business. Works at the Parts Counter when required.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist retail customers, internal customers, and wholesale account customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner via phone, email, or internal communication platforms.
  • Inform customer of associated part requirements and specials and ensure they are exposed to the full product line.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes via electronic ordering programs like: Partstrader, CollisionLink, RepairLink, and OPStrax.
  • Locate or order parts as needed.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock as needed.
  • Prepare invoices for parts to be delivered to wholesale customers.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
  • Maintain and solicit wholesale accounts in person and/or by telephone. Keep Parts Manager informed on the status of accounts.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedure and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in RBM's normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role required.
  • Basic communication and problem solving skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Physical activities include: remain stationary for long periods of time, operate office equipment, and repetitive motion. When working at the Parts Counter physical activities include: constantly position body and move in order to handle inventory and complete job duties; detect and identify safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 100lbs occasionally, 65lbs frequently, 25lbs constantly).
  • Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with occasional exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.
