Job description

We are hiring a Lead Appliance Installation Technician with experience installing high-end residential kitchen and laundry appliances. This role requires technical skill, leadership, and a strong customer service mindset. You’ll oversee a small team, ensure proper installation of premium appliances, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install premium appliances (e.g., Sub-Zero, Miele, Viking, Wolf) in high-end residential settings
  • Lead a crew of 1–3 installation team members, overseeing daily job execution and training
  • Represent the company professionally during client interactions, addressing questions or concerns with care and confidence
  • Read and interpret installation plans, schematics, and manufacturer’s instructions accurately
  • Ensure all installations comply with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
  • Safely maneuver large and heavy appliances (up to 800 lbs) using proper equipment and techniques
  • Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as needed during installs
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and a positive working relationship with clients and team members

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on appliance installation experience, with demonstrated leadership or crew oversight
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Comfortable working with built-in and high-end appliance brands
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and finish carpentry required
  • Ability to maneuver large appliances safely using dollies, lifts, and proper lifting techniques
