Position Overview:

As a Sub Arc Welder/ Seam Welder, you will be a key contributor to our Welding Department, focusing on welding tasks and ensuring the quality of welded components. Your role involves interpreting manufacturing drawings, operating welding equipment, and collaborating closely with team members to achieve project objectives. Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and operation of the Sub Arc Welding machine, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as Sub Arc and Spray Arc on both Mild Steel and Stainless.
  • Operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Follow established welding procedures and protocols.

Job Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in Sub Arc Welding Operations preferred. Must have experience welding pipe.
  • Proficiency in MIG (Spray Arc and or Sub Arc)
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Certification in welding techniques preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with ease of movement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage in repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push, and pull without difficulties.
  • Stand for extended periods during work shifts.
