Senior Fashion Merchandiser (Girls / Juniors Fast Fashion)

Job Description

Analyze market trends, select and purchase merchandise, manage inventory, create product assortments, and work with designers, buyers, and suppliers to ensure products are available at the right time.

1. Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging fashion trends.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to predict what styles and items will be popular in the future.

2. Buying and Sourcing, Inventory management:

  • Work closely with designers and buyers to curate collections, determining the items to purchase and in what quantities.

3. Product Presentation and Visual Merchandising:

  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies to create appealing store layouts and displays.
  • Work with showroom managers to design window displays, aisle setups, and showroom layouts that attract customers and highlight products.


4. Marketing and Sales Support:

  • Contribute to marketing and sales strategies, creating promotional campaigns and materials to sell products.


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Fashion Merchandiser in the apparel industry.
  • Strong background and experience in Girls' / Juniors' / Women's Apparel (clothing only; excluding shoes, bags, hats, and accessories).
  • Experience in fast fashion / trend-driven market environments.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Korean and English.
