Job Description Information Security Engineer Duration: 12 Moth Contract Location: Chandler, AZ (2600 S Price Rd) - preference, RTM is there Phoenix, AZ (Rose Garden) Minneapolis, MN West Des Moines, IA Dallas, TX Charlotte, NC Pay: $42/hr W2 W2 ONLY, NO C2C Required (Security Engineering II): Secure configuration/hardening fundamentals (Windows/Linux) and basic networking literacy Vulnerability management: validate, prioritize, coordinate remediation, document exceptions IAM fundamentals: least privilege, MFA concepts, account lifecycle basics Logging/monitoring fundamentals: common log sources, basic SIEM concepts, alert triage support Strong documentation, ticket discipline, and ability to present low-to-moderate complexity recommendations Collaboration and customer communication with IT partners; process improvement mindset 2+ years of information security engineering (or equivalent experience: consulting, training, military, education) Preferred: Scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation/reporting Cloud security fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP) and/or virtualization basics Familiarity with security tools (EDR, SIEM, vuln scanners) Working literacy of common frameworks/controls (e.g., CIS Controls, NIST-style controls) Skills: Education Computer Science MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint 1 - 2 Years Customer Relationship Management 1 - 2 Years JIRA and Confluence 1 - 2 Years Project Management 1 - 2 Years Top Skills: 2+ years in Infosec Engineering (more complicated than password helpdesk) Project Management Relationship Management Experience and comfort writing baseline configurations for an enterprise.
