As a Leasing Agent on the StuyTown Leasing team, you will be a part of a dynamic leasing operation. This is an exciting, high-energy sales role that requires a passion for connecting with people and guiding them through their journey from prospect to valued resident. You will oversee all aspects of the leasing process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all prospective tenants while maintaining a high level of integrity and adhering to fair housing laws.
What you will do:
  • Exemplify to prospects why StuyTown is the best place to live while building rapport and establishing trust at all interactions.
  • Conduct a high volume of property tours with new clients in an enthusiastic, exciting and compelling manner.
  • Record feedback in our Residential Management System with specific details regarding the prospect's apartment search.
  • Communicate the lease application process, landlord polices and house rules.
  • Effectively following up with all prospective renters via telephone and email while adhering to our Customer Service Time Standards.
  • Review and process applications, including required paperwork, background screenings, apartment details, rent and security deposit amounts and other lease documents required by the landlord.
  • Accountable for reaching monthly leasing goals and landlord objectives.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by Supervisor.

What you should have:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in residential leasing, sales or hospitality.
  • A Results-oriented sales professional who meets or exceeds goals while prioritizing a high-level of customer service.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work weekends (required)
  • Real Estate License preferred
  • Team player mentality
  • Doing any, or all of that, in a multi-family environment would be good too.

Hourly Rate: $22.50 - $24.50, (Earning Potential w/ Commission $100,000)
