The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers in our Toddler (1 and 2-year-old) program our StuyTown location.
At The Goddard School, we understand it all begins with ensuring our faculty are happy and enjoy coming to work. Our teachers are our First Priority. The Owner and administration are very hands on and treats faculty like family! We are seeking kind, compassionate, reliable and professional lead teachers who want to work for a prestigious school and looking for a FUN place to work where they are appreciated!
This brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility has;
  • 15 classrooms
  • All classrooms equipped with phones, Apple iPads & Bluetooth speakers
  • Fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts
  • On site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown

As an Employee, you will receive the following Benefits:

  • Twenty-Seven (27) paid personal days (Yes 27!!!) per year as follows:
  • Ten (10) paid personal days per calendar year
  • Five (5) paid personal days between Christmas and New Year's Day when the school is closed
  • Seven (7) paid holidays per calendar year.
  • Five (5) sick days per year (available to all employees, accrual starts with no waiting period)
  • Up to 100% tuition reimbursement subject to performance and commitment to work for a specified period.
  • Employer will offer and pay for health insurance cost including dental and vision insurance making insurance extremely affordable to employees.
  • Employer will match up to 3% of your contributions to the 401K plan (Employer will deposit extra money into your 401K for your retirement!!!)

Qualifications:

An assistant teacher must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Supporting each childs social and emotional development
